The aroma of funnel cakes and bar-b-q was tempting, but it was the sound of music that drew nearly 5,000 people to the Lyons Fiddle Festival on Sunday.
Festival committee member Chantille Reppert said the Fiddle Festival is getting back to roots American style.
“I love my community and I want to put Lyons on the map. The Fiddle Festival is our biggest fundraiser. We’re almost out of tickets. We went through two huge pigs—it gets bigger every year.”"
